Brown Named Top Master’s Student of Public Health Management and Policy
Shanna Brown was named the outstanding master of public health student in health management and policy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
Brown is a native of Dallas. Brown earned a bachelor of science degree from East Texas Baptist University. Brown plan to pursue a career in clinical research upon graduation in May 2007. She currently works at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in the Department of Internal Medicine, cardiology as a research coordinator.
Brown received the award at the School of Public Health’s annual awards banquet May 5.
