Bouncing back

Returning to college after more than 10 years isn't "old school" to Thomas Harvey.

"To get to where I want to go, I need a bachelor's degree to improve my marketability," Harvey says.

Harvey completed his community college work in the early '90s and is now earning a bachelor's degree in applied technology at UNT Dallas

"I considered attending UT-Arlington, but I like the convenience of UNT Dallas," he says.

Thomas Harvey is a mechanical engineering intern at Dallas Independent School District; small-business owner; and lives in Dallas, Texas.
