University of North Texas - UNT Dallas

Almost 10 years ago, the University of North Texas pledged to build the first public university within the city limits of Dallas. With the support of city leaders, local chambers of commerce, state senators and state representatives, that dream is today becoming a reality.
UNT Dallas continues to grow. In spring 2009, 2,333 students enrolled at the campus. Our full-time student equivalent number reached 1,003, a 26.5 percent increase over the spring 2008 headcount of 1,844. For the last five years, the campus has grown at an average of 16 percent from semester to semester.
Many of the students who are coming to UNT Dallas need financial assistance to make it through college. Our generous scholarship funds really are eliminating barriers to success and are helping us fulfill our mission of raising the high school graduation and college-going rates among the young people of North Texas. At UNT Dallas, students can change their careers, their lives, and ultimately their world by changing their minds.

Our tuition rates are already among the lowest in the North Texas region. But for the campus to continue providing access to success, every supplemental gift given means less money derived from student fees and tuition to keep the campus moving forward.
