Enhance the quality of student learning and maintain our current excellence in student-centered education while increasing efficient use of instructional resources.

COE Goal #2: Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity.
Increase external funding including annual federal grant awards and enhance the quality and quantity of scholarly output of our faculty and graduate students.

COE Goal #3: Community Engagement and National Reputation.
Strengthen the College’s leadership position in the state and nation by preparing well-qualified graduates, engaging in collaborative research projects, and continuing organized outreach to the community.

COE Goal #4: Improve the Internal College of Education Organizational Structures and Communications.
Maintain appropriate organizational structures that support our strategic and academic goals, improve communication, and address the needs of the College in an emerging research university environment.
