  1. Submit all application requirements by Dec. 1 for maximum eligibility for UNT fellowships the following fall semester.
  2. Ask your academic department about fellowships, assistantships and scholarships.
  3. Early contact improves your chances to receive available funding.
  4. File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you are interested in state and federal financial aid, including student loans. Apply by April 15 to receive priority consideration for the fall semester. For details, visit www.unt.edu/finaid.
