UNT to host annual NorTex College Fair for area high school juniors, seniors

What: NorTex College Fair for high school juniors, seniors and parents

When: Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Where: UNT Coliseum, located on the southeast corner North Texas Boulevard and Highland Street and in the Gateway Center on North Texas Boulevard between Eagle Drive and Highland Street.

Cost: Free

Colleges and universities from Texas and around the country will have representatives at the NorTex College Fair to provide admissions, financial aid and other information to high school juniors, seniors and parents. Booths will be located around the concourse of the Coliseum and in the Gateway Center.

In addition to the general fair, two informational forums will be held during the event. A Financial Aid and a "Getting Into College" Forum will take place in the Gateway Center, located adjacent to the Coliseum.

Students who attend high schools in the following independent school districts are invited to attend:

  • Denton
  • Lewisville
  • Keller
  • Coppell
  • Argyle
  • Aubrey
  • Krum
  • Lake Dallas
  • Ponder
  • Sanger

Some high school counselors from these districts will also be available to assist students.
