Opportunities for Training and Volunteering

The following organizations offer trainings and workshops to help prevent, prepare and respond in the event that a disaster strikes. Simple steps taken by the students, faculty and staff members can increase their resilience to a hazardous event. It is our goal to increase public awareness about the importance of preparing for emergencies and to encourage individuals to take action. The organizations listed below strive to provide local citizens with the tools necessary to continue survival until medical services, first responders or other professional personnel becomes available.
