What if my payment is late?
Payments received 5 days past the due date will result in a $15 charge to the student’s account. Failure to pay can result in removal from Housing.

What types of payments do you accept?
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, check or money orders made out to UNT Housing. We will not accept cash in amounts over $100.

I’m waiting on Financial Aid or other funds to arrive. What do I do?
If you need an extension on your bill, please drop by and make arrangements with our office in Crumley Hall.

Will you send me a bill?
You will not receive paper bills; however, you may visit www.unt.edu/housing to view your bill online using your eHousing account at any time.

Do I have to have a meal plan?
All freshmen are required to have a meal plan, regardless of their hall choice. Upperclass students may choose not to have a meal plan if their hall offers that option. These halls are indicated inside.

How do I pay? (4 options)

• Online at www.unt.edu/housing using your eHousing account at any time.
• By check via mail (add student ID number to check)
• In person at Assignments and Collections in Crumley Hall
  (9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday)
• By check at your hall’s payment drop box (add student ID number to check); no
  cash in boxes, thank you.

What is the pre-payment for?

• To register for Housing you are required to put down a $75 room damage deposit, which is refundable after your stay in Housing. In addition, you are required to make a $325 pre-payment for the year’s Housing bill.
• Your first payment will be smaller because we subtract the $325 pre-payment from the amount of your first payment.

When do I pay? (3 options)
You can pay for the entire year up front, the entire semester up front or pay as you go using the payment schedule printed on the back of this brochure.
