This program trains teachers, administrators, and counselors in understanding the cognitive and affective characteristics and needs of gifted children, developing programs, assessments, and curriculum to meet those needs. The four graduate course sequence is appropriate for gifted education specialists, classroom teachers with gifted in their rooms, administrators or counselors with responsibilities for gifted programs, or parents who want a deeper understanding of their gifted and talented children and appropriate school interventions.
