The University of North Texas System serves the North Texas area, boosting economic activity in the region by nearly $2 billion annually. More than 36,000 students are enrolled in undergraduate, graduate and professional programs, and system enrollment is projected to increase to about 45,000 students by 2015. Gov. Perry appoints 3 new members to Board of Regents
Three new members, including two alumni, join the University of North Texas System Board of Regents following Gov. Rick Perry’s appointments to the UNT System’s governing body.
The governor named G. Brint Ryan of Dallas, Steve Mitchell of Richardson and Michael R. Bradford of Midland, as the newest members to the board. All three will serve until May 22, 2015.
