To support the educational mission of the department and institution by providing effective, timely, and professional support to the Health Science Center faculty, staff, and students.

Overview
The Classroom Educational Technology Support (CETS) division is tasked with providing comprehensive technical support for educational activities on or off the UNTHSC campus with the primary responsibility of insuring that each class or meeting has the requested equipment and that the equipment is working properly. As first responders they have the expertise necessary to troubleshoot any classroom or conference room operational problems that may arise.

This division also provides off campus support for Professional and Continuing Education, the President’s Office, and many other departments to support events for education, fund raising, community service, and promoting the Health Science Center. CETS maintains a variety of traditional and computer-related audiovisual equipment and provides this equipment for on- and off-campus use by the faculty and staff. The equipment is available for check-out with an employee or student ID badge. CETS can also provide personnel to support the on and off campus use of checked-out equipment.
