Emergency Operations Plan

All Hazards Campus Emergency Plan

The Emergency Operations Plan provides the procedures and organizational structure for UNT in response to a major emergency. The plan is based on emergency management principles and guides the coordination between UNT, City of Denton, Denton County, non-profit disaster relief organizations, and other response agencies. The National Incident Management System (NIMS) is a standard framework at the local, state, and federal level of response and is a cornerstone of the Emergency Operations Plan.

The Emergency Operations Plan is continuously being tested and evaluated. Workshops, table top exercises, and annual drills allow administration to respond to mock disaster scenarios.
