EFRI FY 2011: Your Opportunity to Suggest
Research Topics
Deadline: September 15, 2009
Dear Colleagues,
The purpose of this letter is to invite the research community
to submit suggestions for topics to be considered for the 2011 Program
Solicitation of the Office of Emerging Frontiers in Research and
Innovation (EFRI). You may do so by accessing the following website

and submitting your topic idea along with a one-page description.

INFORMATION WEBCAST- The EFRI Office held an information
webcast on August 20, 2009 at 1:00 pm. You may view the webcast
at http://www.tvworldwide.com/events/nsf/090820/.
EFRI FY 2010 Solicitation
Two research areas have been identified for the FY 2010 EFRI solicitation:
1. Science in Energy and Environmental Design (SEED): Engineering
Sustainable Buildings
2. Renewable Energy Storage (RESTOR)
The FY 2010 EFRI solicitation can be found at 09-606.
The solicitation references these template files which must be
used:
INFORMATION WEBCAST - The EFRI Office plans to
hold an information workshop on September 17, 2009, to answer any
questions about the EFRI Office and this solicitation. Details will
be posted on the EFRI website (www.nsf.gov/eng/efri)
as they become available.
