The Novartis Biotechnology Leadership Camp (BioCamp) is a pioneering biotechnology seminar for entrepreneurial, postgraduate students in science or economics who are interested in pursuing a career in biotechnology.

Building future leaders in biotech

BioCamp participants get an insider's perspective of the challenges and opportunities in biotechnology today through seminars led by biotech leaders from around the world. Workshops are designed to give participants the tools they need to become successful biotech managers and entrepreneurs.

Today, students from all over the world are recruited for local, regional and the international BioCamps.

International BioCamp

This year's BioCamp will take place on October 26-30, 2009 at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) in Cambridge, Mass., USA.

Earlier BioCamps

Novartis launched the BioCamp seminars in 2004 to create a forum for discussing local and global trends in biotechnology and to attract future talent to pursue research and development in biotechnology.
