Corey was one of the first riders to land front flips and barspin to tailwhips on dirt. He also has a knack for performing under pressure, something he displayed at X '05 when he came from last place in the final run and to first for gold. Corey placed second overall in the 2005 Dew Tour dirt standings. It was Corey's originality that first got him on the Dirt podium at XG '03 (silver), and it was his consistency that brought him back for a gold at XG '04. One of the few riders with no crashes at X '04, he had back-to-back opposite 360 tricks, and he threw down a new trick, the barspin to tailwhip, on the final jump to seal the deal. A very influential presence in the dirt world with his trick innovation and nose diving style, this Aussie is bringing another big trick to X Games 11: the front flip. "That kid is amazing," said Chis Doyle when recalling Corey's XG '03 Dirt performance. Corey came back from a 17th place finish in the 2002 X Games Dirt competition to earn a silver medal in 2003. Corey has original tricks like the barspin to tailwhip and opposite 360 tabletops. Consistency is what bridged the gap for Corey from '02-'03, and he says that medaling again is his goal for XG 2004. Corey is one of the most original riders in dirt jumping today. My VideosComments
