With Ohio State's offense doing nothing, Ohio State used a kick return from Ray Small and two defensive touchdowns to beat Wisconsin. The score might say the Buckeyes won big but the result is anything but positive. The Buckeyes offense is just plain awful.  

There are a number of transfers who will play big roles this season, but Jai Lucas' arrival at Texas might be the most important from a national standpoint. Lucas might not make a huge individual impact, but his presence might be enough to turn the Longhorns into a FInal ...  

Jarvis Varnado and Mississippi State made it into the NCAAs last season only by winning the SEC tournament. The Bulldogs, who return all five starters, won't have to worry about getting that automatic bid this season. They should be able to lock up a bid long beforehand.
