hey have ya'll cleaned up all those phoney phanton zip codes that you listed as part of all those jobs you said you "saved or created?" lol

As much as $9.5 million in federal stimulus dollars went to 14 zip codes in Virginia that don’t exist or are in other states, Old Dominion Watchdog (http://virginia.watchdog.org) reports. The fake zip codes were listed on Recovery.gov, the federal Web site that is supposed to track how the stimulus money is being used.

actually those were corrected quickly. That's why the idea for this site was a good one, benign errors like that could be caught and fixed, not to mention the more egregious acts of fraud and waste. This site has been a breakthrough for transparent governance.

Robert Ritchie

Robert Ritchie In the northeast Tennessee county where I reside, over $28 million dollars of Recovery.gov monies have been invested in providing needed new infrastructure such as: two new, wider, and safer bridges (one replacing a narrow two-lane bridge that the 1928 Republican Party Presidential nominee Herbert Hoover used to cross ...the Watauga River into Elizabethton); widening of a major traffic corridor located within the county seat, and of course; other new spin-off job activity related to the new Recovery.gov investments.

Ginny Lee Has anyone reported fraud for government misuse of of funds? I work for a federal contractor and we just had to lay off employees, because the govermnent termed the contract for Convenience? Our Company hoad ordered large amounts of Supplies, and other supplies on order that had to be canceled, with penalty, plus thos...e companies we were ordering from may have to lay off too, because they are losing out business. Just wondering what the process is to report this kind of conduct, and how to let the right person know this contract has damaged more people and businesses then helped.
