Salary Survey Data with Sources

ERI compiles the most robust job competency, cost-of-living, executive compensation and salary surveys (over 565,000 organizations' data) available. Over 10,000 annual subscribers use ERI analytics for compensation and salary planning, expert witness testimony, relocations, disability determinations, board presentations, setting branch office salary structures, and determination of defensible beginning to experienced salaries & bonuses. ERI Assessor Series allow quick analyses with retrieval of source documents (click on a dot for a web download) via online software or purchase traditional surveys via ERI Salary Surveys.
ERI geographic-specific salary survey subscribers include most Fortune 500 companies, major consulting firms, and over 10,000 other organizations that rely on ERI pay data to gauge competitive salaries and executive compensation. Our patented online on-demand interactive salary, cost-of-living comparisons, and demographic surveys reflect inputs for 35,034,449 job incumbents, providing competitive benchmark comparisons for salary increase planning and staffing patterns in 12 million organizations. Click on a dot and retrieve source documents; this one feature of ERI online and PC applications is what separates ERI from other survey providers and why the IRS uses Assessor Series in 17 offices and no other sources. Oftentimes more a Census than a Survey

Founded 20 years ago as an outsource of salary survey analyses, ERI has evolved into a geographic- and industry-specific salary survey, cost-of -living, and executive compensation benchmark survey firm dedicated to research and development. ERI researchers collect skill measures and assist organizations with their compensation planning via salary software and special reports. Traditional salary surveys sometimes reflect non-random samples; but ERI's databases have grown so robust, many ERI products can be better characterized as a census. (Our focus is data; we do not provide fee-for-service consulting.)

R&D initiatives (in addition to our current ERI Products) include: developing online Assessor Series applications (scheduled for a 1/1/10 release) and provision of ERI's SalariesReview and PAQ's eDOT Skills and Competencies databases for subscribers' private use. Every database has a key: Social Security uses SS #s and the IRS uses organizations EINs. ERI uses longitudes and latitudes (for location to street address/suburbs), the abandoned US Dictionary of Occupational Titles (updated and enhanced) eDOT #s (for jobs), and a combination of the 1987 US SIC and present tax-exempt NTEE codes (for industries). Browser calls for job data, salary survey, cost of living, and other ERI libraries are available on a per feed basis; call 800.627.3697 if you have an internal need (not for resale). Other R&D initiatives include: offering 53 FREE one-hour compensation courses for those new to the tradecraft, supporting college instructors with free materials, and building and maintaining a library of modern-day skills for talent management.

Subscribers rely on ERI compensation reports and software databases to analyze salary ranges, set competitive pay in the United States, Canada, and Europe, research salary survey and geographic pay data, establish cost-of-living differentials for employee relocation allowances, determine merit increases, prepare CEO and other executive compensation reports, and capture organization competencies.

ERI products include the Salary Survey Assessor, Geographic Assessor, Relocation Assessor, Executive Compensation Survey Assessor, Nonprofit Comparables Assessor & Tax-Exempt Survey, and the Occupational Assessor software.
