Statutorily Required Reports

House Bill 1016, enacted by the Texas Legislature in 1999, says that state agency reports required by law must be made available to members of the Legislature in an electronic format specified by the Texas Legislative Council. The Legislative Council's Electronic Format Recommendations document specifies that a state agency should place the required reports on its web site. Listed below are the required reports:

Annual Financial Report

The Texas A&M University System Annual Financial Report is available online. The accompanying notes are an integral part of the financial statements. For a complete presentation of the Texas Transportation Institute, the system combined report including the notes should be reviewed along with the member report.

Customer Service Report

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Plan

The Enterprise Risk Management Plan sets forth TTI's risk management plan and its strategy for enterprise risk management. This plan is intended to complement and expand upon the Institute's strategic plan.

Internal Audit Reports

The Texas A&M University System Internal Audit Department examines and evaluates the activities of the various components of The Texas A&M University System. The combined Annual Internal Audit Report is included among the reports issued by the Internal Audit Department.

State Agency Energy Savings Program

Strategic Plan for Operations

TTI's Strategic Plan discusses the agency's vision, mission, and philosophy and its plans for fulfilling them. The Texas A&M University System Office of the Vice Chancellor for Planning and System Integration is responsible for developing and evaluating implementation of a strategic plan for the entire A&M System.

System Accountability and Management Report

The Texas A&M University System Accountability and Management Report (SAMR) is prepared on an annual basis in the spring. TTI's member report comments on TTI's top priorities and goals, diversity, research, external funding, fiscal stability, and operational efficiencies.
