Convenience Pay

Point-of-Sale Convenience Pay payments are an alternative to mailing checks or money orders for child support obligations. Payments are made at participating retail locations using cash. The payment is sent electronically by the retail agent to the Texas Child Support Disbursement Unit. You will be charged a fee for this service. If you have questions about the fees, please contact the retailer.

Point-of-Sale Convenience Pay Payments are:

  • Safe and Reliable. Reduces the risk of lost or unidentified payments.
  • Convenient. Locations in familiar retailers in your neighborhood.
Payments can be made at any Texas retailer providing Convenience Pay child support payment services. You will need to complete a payment form to make a payment, and you will need:
  • Your 10-digit case number
  • Your cause number (the identification number found on the court case which establishes the child support order)
In most cases, Convenience Pay funds will reach the Texas Child Support Disbursement Unit within 2-3 business days after the payment was made to the retail agent. Payments are then credited to the child support case.

Quick Collect

Point-of-Sale Quick Collect payments are an alternative to mailing checks or money orders for child support obligations. Cash payments are made at locations with Western Union services. The payment is sent electronically by the retail agent to the Texas Child Support Disbursement Unit. Retail agents will charge a fee for providing this service. If you have questions about the fees, please contact Western Union.

Point-of-Sale Quick Collect Payments are:

  • Safe and Reliable. Reduces the risk of lost or unidentified payments.
  • Convenient. Locations in familiar retailers in your neighborhood.

Payments can be made at any location nationwide that provides Western Union services. You will need to complete a payment form to make a payment, and you will need to provide the following information:

  • Your 10-digit case number
  • Your cause number (the identification number found on the court case which establishes the child support order)
  • Pay to: Office of the Attorney Gen TX
  • Code City: Attorney (this code identifies the Office of the Attorney General as the recipient of the funds)
  • State: TX

In most cases, Quick Collect funds reach the Texas Child Support Disbursement Unit the same day or the day after the payment was made to the retail agent. Payments are then credited to the child support case.

Any Western Union location nationwide accepts Quick Collect payments.


Fidelity XPressPay

Point-of-Sale Fidelity XPressPay payments are an alternative to mailing checks or money orders for child support obligations. Payments are made at participating retail locations using cash. The payment is sent electronically by the retail agent to the Texas Child Support Disbursement Unit. The fee is $2 per child support payment.

Point-of-Sale Fidelity XPressPay Payments are:

  • Safe and Reliable. Reduces the risk of lost or unidentified payments.
  • Convenient. Locations in familiar places in your neighborhood.

Payments can be made at any Fidelity Express Authorized Location providing child support payment services. You will need the following information:

  • Your 10-digit case number
  • Your cause number (the identification number found on the court case that established the child support order)

In most cases, Fidelity XPressPay payments reach the Texas Child Support Disbursement Unit in two business days. Payments are then credited to the child support case.
