Stabilization Webinar
Thurs., October 8, 2:00–3:00 EST
In communities around the country, nonprofit organizations and residents are working to protect and stabilize their neighborhoods from the devastating effects of foreclosure. Many are looking to the current crisis as an opportunity to expand affordable housing opportunities.
In this highly interactive webinar Rick Jacobus from NCB Capital Impact will cover ways communities can “hardwire” housing affordability through the creative use of public financing options including the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). Participants will also have the opportunity to hear how one NeighborWorks network organization, The Housing Partnership, Inc. working in Palm Beach County, FL, has adopted the Community Land Trust model to ensure long-term affordability in their community.
A Responsible Approach to Neighborhood Stabilization is a partnership between NeighborWorks America and the Annie E. Casey Foundation. More information can be found online.
