City Council
Buda was incorporated as a city in 1948. Buda is a Home Rule City governed by Council-Manager form of government. All are elected city-wide and members must reside within the City limits.
City Council Meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of every month in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 121 Main Street, Buda, TX. Agendas are posted on the web page and at City Hall 72 hours prior to the meeting. Minutes are posted on the web page after they are approved. Periodically the Council will request a work session prior to meeting at which time the meeting will start at 6:30 PM.
