Law Enforcement
In June of 2007, the City of Buda and the Hays County Sheriff’s Office entered into a formal contract agreement for dedicated uniformed patrol services for the citizens of Buda. Contracting police services has proved beneficial to both entities.
The Sheriff’s Office is delighted to be an integral part of this beautiful growing community. It is our continuing goal to keep the City of Buda safe and crime free through a proactive approach to quality of life issues and a strong commitment to providing the best law enforcement services available.
The Chief of Police is Bo Kidd.
