Texas, US, and Flower Mound FlagsBudget Focused on Public Safety, Infrastructure Improvements, and Superior Service Levels

At a time when many municipalities are facing severe budget deficits, hiring freezes or layoffs, and a decrease in service levels, including the closing of libraries and other community facilities, Flower Mound is fortunate enough to have conservative leadership, fiscally responsible staff, and sound financial planning. The strength of this foundation allowed the Town Council to adopt a balanced Fiscal Year (FY) 2009-2010 budget that maintains service levels while requiring no reduction in workforce or increase in the ad valorem tax rate.
