Solid Waste Services collects dead animals from the public right of way within 2 business days of notification.

Solid Waste Services cannot collect a dead animal from private property. However, as a courtesy, Solid Waste Services will collect a dead animal that has been placed at the curb. You may put it in a bag or box if you wish. DO NOT put a dead animal in your garbage cart.

To report a dead animal, call 3-1-1 24 hours a day. You can also send an E-mail.

If your pet has died, you may wish to call your veterinarian or a pet crematory instead. We are sorry about the loss of your pet.
