Friends of the Library
Purpose

The Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to the public library through fundraising and volunteer participation. Contributions to the Friends are used exclusively for our public library to enhance library services and programs. Friends support the library by:

  • Sponsoring an annual book sale
  • Managing the used book store in the library
  • Funding the purchase of library materials
  • Funding database subscriptions
  • Sponsoring the Noon Book Review series
  • Sponsoring "Books for Babies" project for newborns
  • Providing funding for outreach programs
  • Sponsoring the First Edition newsletter

To join the FOL or renew your membership, print and complete the 2008 FOL Membership Form, then bring it to the library to complete the application process.


Yearly Dues

Applications are also available in the Friends Bookstore and at the library's checkout desk.

  • $25.00 (or more)/Patron
  • $50.00/Business

  • Saturday, December 13
  • Meetings begin at 10:00 a.m. in the library's meeting room
