MISSION Develop programs, draft legislation, and establish policies that will provide the greatest amount of service in a fiscally responsible manner with respect for personal liberty in order to generate a higher quality of life for its residents and a more thriving business community. City Council Information Index Upcoming Regular Meetings Regular meetings of the Duncanville City Council are held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Unless otherwise posted, briefing sessions begin at 6 p.m. with the regular meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Regular meetings are held at Duncanville City Hall, 203 East Wheatland Road, Duncanville, Texas 75116. The Duncanville City Council consists of seven (7) members: the Mayor (elected at large), one council member elected at large, and five councilmembers elected from single member districts. Council members serve two year terms, expiring on staggered years. Mayor, district 2 and district 4 expire on even-numbered years while the terms of the at-large councilmember and representatives from districts 1, 3 and 5 expire on odd numbered years. City elections are held each May.
