MISD is the Best Place to Work

Midlothian ISD employees voted for our district as the "Best Places to Work" in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex through a recent Dallas Business Journal survey. Rankings were revealed at a celebratory awards luncheon held September 17 and MISD was ranked 4th among its category. MISD is the only school district ranked in the top five Best Places to Work. More than 400 companies entered into the survey process. More

MISD Health Advisory to Parents

Due to inconsistencies in flu reporting, MISD has decided to remove the Type A flu chart from the website.  An increasing number of students are reporting flu, but do not know which sub type (Type A or Type B) and there are a number of students with influenza like illness (ILI) that have not seen a doctor.  MISD does not want to report inaccurate information, so it is best to remove the Type A flu chart from our webpage.  More
