Policy

Public community/junior colleges must file a Benefits Proportional by Fund Report by Jan. 1 for the preceding year ending Aug. 31 with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Legislative Budget Board, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and State Auditor.

Summary

The purpose of the Benefits Proportional by Fund Report is to gather data on the funding sources for salaries and wages and the related employee benefit costs at community and junior colleges.

This report is based on financial data from each institution's 2008 Annual Financial Report (AFR).

The Community/Junior College Benefits Proportional by Fund Report was developed with the Legislative Budget Board and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and its Community College Annual Financial Reporting Requirements Committee.
