City Creates Citizen HELP LINE
Beginning April 1, residents and businesses alike can call 817-598-HELP (81 7-598-4357).

The new communication feature will assist the City in providing information and solutions to problems in a timely manner on a variety of subjects regarding the City of Weatherford, its departments, and its policies through an efficient and effective sustainable service. The Help Line is designated for service issues and questions that do not need a police or fire response, such as litter, broken street lighting, and transportation issues.

If residents call the Help Line during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, they will reach a City employee designated to handle the call. If after hours, calls will be answered by voicemail which will be received the next business day.

The goal of the City is to respond to all requests within three working days; however, that does not mean requests will be answered or resolved within three days. If an issue is extensive, the City will keep the caller informed of the progress.

The Help Line is designed to bring a great deal of comfort and convenience to the people of Weatherford and will ensure that the City provides quality service to the entire community, particularly
those that need to report simple issues quickly and easily.

City administration encourages residents to take an interest in the appearance, health, and safety of the community and make full use of the Help Line.

Make it easy for the City to help you by calling 817-598-HELP (817-598-4357).

Citizens may also submit electronic Citizen Service Requests via the City’s website. Issues can be reported such as abandoned vehicles, bill payment, food establishment complaints, building code violations, blocked drainage channels, unlawful accumulation, and high weeds/grass among numerous others. Reporting issues online will allow you the opportunity to track the issue as well.
