You must appear at 200 East Avenue D, Killeen, and enter a plea on your case. If you cannot afford the full fine and costs, you may be placed on a time payment plan.

The Killeen Municipal Court is preparing warrants for individuals who have not taken care of their traffic citations issued by the City of Killeen Police Department. The Court has been working on a backlog of traffic citations that are now in warrant status.

What does this mean to you?

If you have a ticket and you have not appeared in Court, you could:

•  Have your driver's license suspended or the ability to renew your driver's license no matter what State you are from; or renew or register your vehicle;
• You will be arrested and sent to jail if stopped for a traffic violation. Police or the Cit y Marshal may come to your home or place of employment to make the arrest at anytime.
• Have your fine and costs increased as warrant fees will be added;
• If you are military, your unit will be notified. WARNING! = You must have at least one-half of the amount paid before the warrant can be recalled or enter a not guilty plea and schedule a pre-trial.
• Lose the option of taking DSC.
