Liquid Waste Haulers

The City of Lubbock operates an approved receiving station for septic and chemical toilet waste. The receiving station is located at the Southeast Water Reclamation Plant (SEWRP), 3603 Guava Avenue. Normal hours of discharge at the SEWRP are Monday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. In EMERGENCY SITUATIONS (all hours other than as mentioned above, including weekends and holidays) discharging may be permitted by notifying the Water Reclamation Control Room at (806) 775-3234.
Waste haulers will NOT be allowed to discharge any of the following:
- Grease Trap or Interceptor Waste
- Grit / Sand Trap Waste
- Oil, Grease, Antifreeze, Battery Acid, or any fluids or wastewater from vehicles or engines
- Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) hazardous waste
