The Texas Department of State Health Services has issued the following advisory:
The following precautions are strongly recommended for all residents of Guadalupe County:
- Public gatherings should be postponed for the immediate future.
- Anyone with symptoms of a respiratory illness, and their household members, should stay home and avoid close contact with others.
SORM recommends that state agencies who have employees in Guadalupe County comply with the advisory.
SORM further recommends state agencies monitor the following website for additional advisories as they are issued: http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/news/releases/20090425.shtm.

Las precauciones siguientes se recomiendan fuertemente para todos los residentes del condado de Guadalupe:
- Las reuniones públicas se deben posponer para el futuro inmediato.
- Cualquier persona con síntomas de una enfermedad respiratoria, y sus miembros de la casa, deben permanecer caseros y evitar cerca entre en contacto con con otros.
