The Driver Training Division is the single point of contact
for all driver training programs in Texas. The division approves driving
safety (a.k.a. defensive driving or ticket dismissal) courses, and it
assists both public and commercial driver education instructors and schools.
All commercial driver training instructors, schools, and course providers
are licensed and regulated by this division.
