	Stage 2 Drought Rules In Effect San Marcos began Stage 2 drought restrictions on June 19, 2009 in response to continuing drought conditions and low aquifer and springflow levels. Recently the City Council approved a rule change to allow citizens to request an alternate watering day for the once a week watering restrictions. >> Drought Response Rules
