Adoption Program & Fees
At the City of Lubbock's Animal Services, it is our wish that every companion animal be placed in a loving, caring home.

Lubbock Animal Services works hard to ensure that an appropriate match is made to ensure an animal meets its new family's lifestyle. As part of our adoption program, we require a potential owner to complete an adoption application and interview with our adoption counselor. During the interview, potential owners are educated on the proper care of the new pet, common problems that may arise, and what responsibilities they have as a pet owner.

The adoption fee is $60.00 per animal. This fee includes the spay/neuter, first set of vaccinations, microchip implant and City ID/registration tag.

Hours of Operation are as follows: Monday – Friday: 8 am to 6 pm. Saturday: 12 pm to 4 pm

We always have a wide selection of companion animals available.
