Report Illegal Dumping

Information
Lubbock citizens and property owners often experience the unwelcome gift of a worn out couch or other unwanted bulky item beside their dumpster or on their vacant lot. These items are also often found along the road sides of our less traveled streets. Code Enforcement receives reports on these items that are illegally dumped and if some identification can be made regarding the person(s) who dumped these items OR if it is known where the items came from, Code Enforcement can make those responsible for causing the illegal dumping to remove and properly dispose of the items and Code Enforcement will issue citations. In cases where no person can be identified and held responsible for the items, the property owner may be responsible for disposing of those items.
