Report an Injured or Deceased Animal

Injured Animals are a top priority for Animal Services. If you see an injured animal please call 311 with the following information:

• Type of animal
• Size
• color
• location (be as exact as possible, direction of travel if animal is moving)
• your contact information

Do not attempt to catch or move an injured animal. They are likely to bite out of pain and should be handled by trained personnel.

Deceased Animals
If you need to report a deceased animal, please have the following information:

• Type of animal
• Size
• Color
• Location (be as exact as possible)
  
• Your contact information

If you own the animal, please have the animal in a readily accessible location or be home for the Officer to pickup.

Please be aware that it may be some time before Animal Services responds to a deceased animal due to higher priority calls.
