Enjoy visiting our distinguished Newton County Historical Center and review genealogy, museum artifacts or take a self-guided tour of our historical cemeteries, churches and other unique landmarks.  Visit the Powell Hotel Museum and Chamber of Commerce Visitors' Center, across from the Newton County Courthouse, and take a "step back in time" while getting some great tourist information and advice.
