You can volunteer to help:
- children (CPS or Child Protective Services)
- aged or disabled adults (APS or Adult Protective Services)
- ensure quality child care in Texas (CCL or Child Care Licensing)

to be connected to a list of volunteer needs near you. Find the region for my home county.
- DFPS uses an automated sign-up and tracking system to help local coordinators communicate with our many volunteers, so you will be taken to another site to continue the sign-up process.
- Each job starts with either "APS", "CPS", or "CCL" – this tells you which program the job supports. Pick the program you prefer (you can always switch later).
- After you sign up, the local coordinator will contact you.
