The Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB)
created by an act of the Texas Legislature in 1991 to license, certify and regulate real estate appraisers in Texas under state and federal laws.

Who is Regulated by the TALCB?

File and Pay for a Renewal Online! for General Certified, Residential Certified, and Trainees.
NOTE: General Certified, Residential Certified, State Licensed and Provisionally Licensed Appraisers (but not Trainees) MUST take the 7-hour National USPAP Update Course. This is an application for renewal and does not automatically renew a certification.
