Fort Worth Songwriters' Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit Corporation organized exclusively for the education of persons in the craft of songwriting, music, and related topics: the preservation of songwriting and original music as a viable art form; and songwriters as artists and artisans to the community and the world; the networking of songwriters, musicians, and interested persons to socialize, recognize and advance themselves, their talents, and music and songwriting in general; and to undertake any activities which assist in the establishment, promotion, preservation and presentation of songwriters, music, and songwriting. Some of the services we offer are workshops, weekly open mics, invitational showcases, web pages for our members, monthly newsletters, song critiques and song contests.
