Zig (Billy HerZIG) has produced over 40 CD projects - singer/songwriters, country, Americana and rock. He has studios in Arlington and Nashville. He also produced and recorded blues, jazz, reggae, bluegrass, gospel, jingles, comedy, music for TV and movies. His productions have played on radio in Texas, the US, and all over the world. Zig wrote the #1 hit "Right From The Start" recorded by Earl Thomas Conley (RCA '89) also in the movie RoadHouse and on Earl's Greatest Hits. From Ft Worth, Zig played in bands and owned Abalone Studio in the late '80s. In 1989 he moved to Nashville and was a staff writer for Sony/Tree, Warner/Chappell, Music Daily, and others. Zig's Nashville studio, GreyHouse, recorded demos for Sony, BMG, RCA, Warner, EMI, Capitol, MCA, Universal, Disney, and many independents, including songs that were hits, and also"Good Things Are Happening," theme of ABC's Good Morning America. Zig is a musician who plays guitar, keyboards, bass.
