Reporting Fraud

The TxDOT Standard

TxDOT has a responsibility to the public to maintain the highest ethical standards when conducting business. To that end, we depend on two fraud reporting programs, the Internal Compliance Program (ICP) and the Texas State Auditor's Office Hotline. Each one enables both employees and citizens to anonymously report any suspected fraudulent activity.

Internal Compliance Program (ICP)

ICP ensures that TxDOT business is conducted in an ethical manner in compliance with all laws and regulations. Reporting suspected fraud may be done through ICP's TxDOT Watch.

TxDOT Watch

The TxDOT Watch reporting system allows individuals to anonymously report suspected unethical and illegal activities within the agency in one of two ways:

  • Report incidents by visiting TxDOT Watch.
  • Call toll-free (877) 769-8936.

Standards of Conduct

TxDOT requires its employees to follow the highest standards of conduct at all times, including avoiding real or perceived conflicts of interest and maintaining the highest levels of professionalism at all times.
