The Government and Public Affairs Division manages TxDOT business before the Texas Legislature and United States Congress, serves as the agency's media spokesperson, analyzes policy questions, studies long-term department challenges and serves as TxDOT liaison to Mexico and other countries.
The division focuses on integrating the public and private sectors in the delivery of transportation infrastructure through business development, program marketing, public conferences and internal and external communications.
