This page is a service of the State Fire Marshal's Office that serves as the central resource or clearinghouse for information and materials for Texas fire and life safety public educators. Our objective is to enhance community education programs and initiatives by facilitating your access to

national, state, and local statistics;
new programs and materials;
a collaborative knowledge base for best practices;
educational opportunities;
reference links; and
a network of peers.

It will encourage consistency in the delivery of educational messages statewide and help us all reach our joint goal of reducing loss of life and property in Texas due to fire and related hazards.
