Proposed Administrative Rules
PROPOSED RULES are recommended new rules, an amendment to an existing rule, or a repeal of an existing rule and are published for public comment in the Texas Register. Public comment is open for at least 30 days after the publication date. After the comment period has closed, staff considers all comments prior to adoption.
Proposed rules are submitted to the Commission and/or advisory boards/councils and committees for review and input.
Rule adoptions and rule adoption orders are submitted to the Commission for approval prior to final adoption.
