Welcome!

Welcome to the Texas Youth Connection web site!

If you are a youth in the Texas foster care system, a youth transitioning to adulthood, or a youth who is just looking for general tips and information, you've come to the right place.

ETV News - A Very Important Message from the Education & Training Voucher (ETV) Program.

Please read the entire message. Contact your local PAL staff, case manager or transition center if you need help.

Beginning Monday, June 29, 2009, the ETV Program will have a new statewide administrator including ETV coordinators placed in transition centers in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.

DFPS has hired Baptist Child & Family Services to operate the ETV Program beginning Monday, June 29, 2009. Here's what you can expect:

  • The transfer of the ETV Program will NOT disrupt your Fall applications or reimbursement requests
  • For the next few months, the contract provider will operate the ETV Program almost the same as it is now in order to avoid confusion.
  • Beginning Monday, June 29, you will simply have new contact numbers and case managers during your ETV participation.

New ETV phone numbers:
Phone: 1-877-268-4063
Fax: 210-208-5605
