Saving lives when seconds count
We hope it will never happen. Probably, at your school it never will. But it pays to be prepared. Having a school safety plan prepared in advance can save lives when the unthinkable occurs.
Does your school have an action plan to deal with a violent emergency such as a shooting? Ask your teachers and your parents. Tell them that the Office of the Attorney General and the Texas School Safety Center have developed a program to prepare your school for an emergency response.
