KUHF.FM 88.7 brings the popular one-hour series back for another year, Sundays at 4pm, starting on July 26, 2009. Host Regina Scruggs welcomes you for another great season of performances from the summer festival series at Round Top, Texas.  Musical highlights are from the 2008 Festival-Institute concerts.

The series can be heard in the Houston area on KUHF at 88.7 FM.  It can also be heard worldwide via the Internet “Classical” stream at www.kuhf.org .

2009 Testimonials form the audience ...
Drive 130 miles to Round Top Festival Hill concert and 130 miles home. The enjoyment of the concert is worth every mile plus more. Thank you. Thought the program was outstanding. Both works were two of my favorites. Would not have missed it.
Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

Marvelous outpost of serious music in a highly improbable site, filled with mystery and incredible musical talent. I consider James Dick one of the amazing Texans who have writ this state large with imagination and vision!

Stepping into the concert hall at Festival Hill makes me very proud to be both a supporter of fine music and a Texan. And when the mesmerizing sounds permeate that incredible building, I can't help but be reminded that some dreams, even those, which are seemingly impossible, can actually come true, given enough dedication and initiative. For me at least, Festival Hill is truly my "Field of Dreams". And as I leave after each concert, I am all the more certain that classical music will indeed be carried more boldly into the future by the talented young performers whose lives, like mine, have been forever changed by James Dick.

As always, the experience was fantastic--such incredible dedication from every performer. To bring young talent from the 4 corners of the globe together with world-renowned artists and teachers is a challenging feat on its own. To experience the results is truly inspiring. We can only hope that future generations will be able to bring their children here to take part in the experience that is Festival Hill.

The performances at Festival Hill are as grand as anything you would see at a major city music hall and yet unlike anything else you would see anywhere. The grounds and facilities are incredibly beautiful and you see performances done by people from all over the world right here in this tiny area of Blue Bonnet County. I love it! Everything about it is wonderful!

A great escape with some of the greatest artists anywhere in a building that rivals any of the great concert halls of the world!! The word "great" truly describes it all !!!

There is no more welcoming place. I can't think of another classical music venue where everyone is made to feel at home, whether dressed to the nines or in jeans and a T-shirt, all while hearing some of the most talented musicians in the world. And the concerts are just the tip of the ice cream cone!
